I started Nourishing Apparel when my third baby was half a year old. With three young children, I’m always nursing on the go and often with my baby in a carrier. It is important to me that I feel like my personal style hasn’t changed just because I have a nursling. I love wearing dresses and was getting tired of thinking every morning,

“How can I nurse in this dress?”

As I began looking around for nursing dresses, I came across some great stylish ones. Many of the online stores were outside of Canada and I was put off by the shipping, duty charges, and international return issues of cross-border shopping. I knew I couldn’t be the only one who would love access to stylish nursing wear that was shipped within Canada. And thus, Nourishing Apparel was born!

My goal is to be a destination site for women who are looking for stylish nursing wear, with a focus on dresses.
